travel europe italy lazio civita di bagnoregio caves

While the architecture of Civita di Bagnoregio and the town layout is the major attraction, I like to go down the side of the bluff and see the caves.
Like the town, these caves, except for the contemporary fencing, tend to look like a step back in history.
